I'll try as soon as its available. I have an embryonic blcr integration with grid engine on hardy now. It uses the application-level checkpoint environment, and a special starter_method to take care of blcr restarts. It checkpoints/restarts unmodified applications. If there is interest I can post what I did here; the information out there for blcr with grid engine seems a little dated and uses only userdefined environments leaving all the work to the user job scripts. If any grid engine pros are listening, how does one add a fully configured checkpointing environment, i.e. something like "cray-ckpt", but for blcr on linux? I guess that would do away with the modified starter_method I currently have.
