    Neal,

I have followed up on the -fno-stack-protector issue and found that another
change that has been made since is sufficient to fix the linkage problem. In
other words, the -fno-stack-protector is now redundant, and I will remove it
    for the 0.8.0 release.
As it happens, the other fix that made -fno-stack-protector unnecessary is
also due to your work with rpmlint and the Fedora community: your report that
rpmlint complained libcr was not linked to libc. By resolving that issue, the
link failures with the stack-protector support were also resolved (the CORRECT
    resolution).
So, I again thank you for your continued efforts with BLCR.

Merry Christmas (or observance of your choice),
    -Paul
