Yuan, The way BLCR functions, there should be nothing language dependent about checkpointing of unmodified applications. If you run "cr_run your_app app_args", then the result should be a checkpointable application, regardless of what language the application is written it (and regardless of whether it is bytecode or native object code). However, if the application has some non-checkpointable resource (such as TCP sockets), this will be a problem (again regardless of language). In such a case one can use the C functions described in libcr.h to add "callbacks" that can extend the checkpoint to deal with such resources in an application-specific manner.
