Only a week after releasing 0.6.3, there is now a 0.6.4 release to fix a potential kernel panic when checkpointing mmap()s of HUGETLBFS files with some kernels. It also adds support for the 2.6.24 kernel, released last week. The 0.6.4 release is now available from the BLCR Downloads page: http://ftg.lbl.gov/CheckpointRestart/CheckpointDownloads.shtml From the NEWS file: 0.6.4 -------- January 28, 2008 Bug-fix and expanded-support release. - This release adds support for 2.6.24 kernels. - This release fixes bug 2234 which could cause a kernel Oops when dealing with mmap()s of HUGETLBFS on some kernels. -Paul PS You are receiving this either because you are on the checkpoint_at_lbl_dot_gov list, or because you've recently sent email to the list (or me directly) asking about BLCR status. -- Paul H.
