If you are interested in porting it to MIPS yourself, this should be possible. Most of the architecture-specific code is in the logic that saves/restores CPU registers, which is done in the 'vmadump' and/or 'vmadump4' directories ('vmadump' is used for Linux 2.4 kernels, 'vmadump4' for 2.6 kernels).
