  The current beta (http://mantis.lbl.gov/blcr-dist) should work w/ RHEL3.

  The checkpoint_at_lbl_dot_gov address you've sent to *is* a mailing list,
including the developers and a few interested users of BLCR.  If you are
interested in joining, you may e-mail "subscribe checkpoint" to
majordomo_at_lbl_dot_gov.
