In general, we do not provide "installation support" for the
releases found in this directory.  We do, however, encourage reporting
bugs in any "beta" or "snapshot" when it is the latest available
version.

This directory contains "beta" releases of BLCR, intended for testing
of features and fixes that will appear "real soon now" in a full
release.  To acheive "beta" status the code must achieve a certain
degree of stability on the systems we have available in-house for
testing.  The purpose, therefore, in releasing a "beta" is to allow
others to test new vesions of BLCR before making a "full" release
to the general public.

The "snapshots" subdirectory contains development snapshots of BLCR
taken on the dates indicated in the file name.  These are made when
there is a need to make a new feature or a potential fix available
to one or more BLCR users.  These "snaphots" either have not yet been
tested for the stability required to label them "beta", or else have
been tested and have *not* met our criteria.  Also, the documentation
in a "snapshot" release has usually not been updated since the previous
"full" release.
